The 104mm length will be to long, especially with your level 3 lift kit. But I believe you can flip it upside and mount the shocks higher up than what you would normally be able to on the shock hoop giving you a droop setup. This way the 104mm would be perfect and you would get lots of articulation. The g-made shocks I hear are good and do great bashing and high speed trail runs, also you have the ability to run different springs, I find them to look a little on the big size diameter wise for the scx10. The king rc4wd shocks are more scale and thinner, look like the go perfect on an scx10 with dual springs but I find them even with 50wt to not be enough spring or oil capacity for bashing or high speed, but boy do they look great and work great for low speed rock crawling.

I did mean to use the L3 lifts to raise the upper link of the shocks.
Do they soft enough for crawling?

I'm running the gmade 103mm piggyback shocks on the front of my scx10 tundra truggy I love them. I am just waiting to sell my proline scaler shocks on the back to get another pair of the piggybacks. From what I've heard the gmade zero shocks leak. As far as them being soft enough it is all a matter of tuning with different weight of shock fluid, different shock pistons, and softer springs. The gmade piggyback shocks have a adjuster valve on the piggybacks to make them softer or harder without changing springs or fluid and they come with 3 sets of pistons for tuning. That's why I went with them. Personally I like running 103mm shocks with them mounted higher up with the lift/drop plates for more shock travel but still retaining the same ride height. Its all about personal preferences but my only shocks I run are gmade piggybacks or prolines and trust me I looked at those shocks and like the way they look but I always look at what people say about what product I want to buy so I find out if its a p.o.s. or not before I spend my money

I run the 103 piggy backs on Blue and like them. I think they look good on there.
