I did post, but posted in your thread by mistake. I was talking G6 light bars with another guy, thought is was you, but I was wrong. Didn't want to clog up your thread. =) Sorry |

No problem. I don't mind digressing a bit. I like the way your light bar came out. Looks good.

I installed the links last night. Here's a couple of photos. ![]() ![]() Nest step was to install the VP Dig. The trick was modifying my Integy gearbox so the VP Dig would fit. As you can see the rectangular Integy base doesn't find the round Dig. Like sticking a square peg in a hole. It no work. ![]() I used a file to get the get the shape I wanted. Then I used my Dremel to take it down. Little by little. Here is a before and after photo. Before: ![]() After: ![]() Here's how it ended up looking. A pretty good fit. ![]() ![]() Next step was to proceed with the VP Dig installation. Once the VP Dig install was done, it was time to mount the gearbox on the skid plate. ![]() I notice after installing the gearbox onto the skid plate that the Dig shifter arm was not smooth anymore. At this time it was after midnight, but it bothered me so I started to inspect the install. After tinkering for awhile I noticed that the Dig shifter arm was barely touching the inside of the skidplate. So tonight I'll do a little filing so the shifter arm will clear the skid plate. To be continued ... |

Basically, I used a card board box for my spray booth, a toaster oven, and a Harbor Freight powder coating spray gun. Thank you. ![]()
