It's a roller. I filed the inside of the skid plate about 1.5mm. Now the Dig shifter clears the inside of the skid plate and shifts smoothly. Also, installed the servo holder, panhard and steering links. And of course the tires too. I'll install the knuckle weights later. ![]() ![]() Last picture. A better look at the GearHead 1.9 12-Pack EZ-Loc Wheels. ![]() I hope to get a lot more done tomorrow. It's suppose to be 85°, sunny and very warm. My kind of weather which means after I get a bunch of work done. I can have one or two celebratory brews. Yes! To be continued ... |

I got a lot of building done last Saturday. I started the day early setting up my rickety workspace. I stated by trimming the body. Here's a couple of pictures. ![]() ![]() The body is basically done. I might need a little smoothing out here and there. And speaking about bodies, the prettey USPS carrier delivered a package. The VP front bumper CMS mount came in just in time. ![]() I had a minor issue with the CMS front bumper mount. The holes didn't align up correctly which prevented the screw from going straight into the CMS front bumper . No need to panic. I took my Dremel and trimmed just a tad to make the hole a little wider. ![]() Once the trimming was complete the holes lined up perfectly and the screw went straight in. ![]() Moving along, I have noticed that some people like to lower the G6 body. I like just that way it sits, kind of high. So when It came down to installing the rear bumper, I had to make some custom brackets to raise the bumper a bit. ![]() One more photo of the rear bumper and where I would like to be. ![]() So here's my template for my rear bumper brackets. ![]() Here's how it looks with the brackets installed. ![]() To be continued ... |

Looks great, just got my dig today and I'm having a problem with the rear driveshaft, have you tried putting your driveshafts on?

| ![]() Thank you. Thank you. I have not installed my driveshafts yet. What problem are you having with the resr driveshaft? I believe the driveshaft needs to be trimmed. Check twice and trim a little by little. Let me know how it works out. |

I came up with a couple of alternatives for a front bumper. This bumper might be a little to wide. I would have to trim it so it's narrower. ![]() ![]() This bumper sticks out further. ![]() ![]() To be continued ... |
