What did you do to you SCX-10 today?

Finally replaced the leaking Icon shock bodies with STRC ones. Also going to try some single stage Proline power stroke shock springs. Swapped out the plastic inner C's for some "Dedenbear" orange STRC inner C's. I found and swapped a busted Axial rod end I drilled out to 4mm. I need to install some Revo rod ends soon. I've got to make some sliders as well, the last set I made are 1/4" to narrow.

Put in tail lights and built a light bar with 4 leds. Converted the front to a four link, built a custom tie rod and set up a pan hard bar.

I put on an eight led light bar on my G6. And a red smd strip with 6 smd's along the back. Will ad pics asap. Looking to install 2 red led tail lights in the chrome housings i have installed in the body. And two white spot lights on the the hood up by the windshield.

put some fresh paint on my bumpers, sliders etc.
and made/installed a Firestick CB antenna (aka base guitar string).

I put the finishing touches on my SCX Chevy build by getting the electronics installed.






I'm using 5 of the 6 channels on my hacked Flysky radio to control different light functions. I've also integrated a winch controller into the circuit also controlled by the radio.



i took it out last night for it's first run and tested the the lights.
Video starts out with hazard lights, then switches to police style flashers. Last, scale signals and brake lights. The LED light bar brightness is controlled using the steering trims on my Flysky. I have it programmed for "OFF" "Just Visible" "Medium" and "Full". The headlights go bright when throttle is applied.

Finished with the interior, mirrors and the bed sides. My first go at styrene.
This is my wife's truck. Still undecided on tire size. I like the MT MTZ. but she likes the way it climbs with the 2.2 mudslingers. Guess what ever she likes.

The stock clutch didnt get well with water. It deteriorated and the clutch stuck. So I have dropped in the slash one and it was a direct fit!









So now I have a 32p tough gear and heavy duty clutch!

Finally got the rear Currie Axle in today and ordered a Helios 2 speed transfer case.

Installed some fresh XL Swampers, HD underdrive gears, and a Locked Up spool then did some driving.



The end result was stripped out screw holes that held on the c-hubs and a snapped ST Racing CVD. I guess I will have another update coming once the new box from RPP gets here.
