Borrowed the cage from my new G6 kit and mounted it up on a Scout body, much better. Will need to run Dingo lower links or open up the wheel arches a lil bit, undecided. Last edited by mojave450rider; 12-06-2013 at 11:19 AM. |

my vote goes to opening up the wheel wells some. They look rather small anyway. IMO... the longer wheel base improves it's climbing ability. Well that along with properly placed ballast. More weight to the front and/or centered low on the chassis... will improve the COG and help keep the rubber side down. ^ batteries are usually considered to be the primary ballast, with regards to the chassis sprung weight. |

So I went in and opened up the wheel arches and it turned out good I'm happy I didn't shorten the wheelbase up. Now I think maybe a couple scale items to help make it look the part..... |

How does the G6 cage fit? Did it line up well, I'm asking cause I found a supply of those bodies and would love to make a 1.55 copy of that

I'm working on brackets for the shock towers to lower the ride height for more stability but keeping the amount of travel the same for some U4 racing this weekend.

Have you ever given a thought of dovetailing the rear end of the body to bring it in towards the cage? I think that would look killer.

I have had that thought run across my mind frequently and don't have any experience with chopping up a lexan body so if anyone has any advice I just might go for it!
