Part 4 of the AsiaTees scx10 build

So I had a chance to do a little work on the AsiaTees build. I wonder what they sent. It looks like we will be installing the Aluminum Steering Block & Linkage Version 2 PART: #22403bk.http://www.asiatees.com/pic_loader.php?id=47829&size=1
And Aluminum F & R Skid Plate For SCX-10 Complete Axle (2) Black PART: #22476bk. http://www.asiatees.com/pic_loader.php?id=48512&size=1

Now I've been asked about the quality of the skids and i will say pretty nice but it seem a little soft so lets see how they preform. So now lets get started on the install. Here is a little pic of beforehttp://<a href="http://s1292.photobu....jpg[/img]

With a little help from a 4 favorite stooges I got the steering all done and man does it look nice. Now i did have trouble installing the knuckles but figured out if you turn the brass spacers backwords it fits nice before it wouldnt fit. That was the only problem i ran across. Now i would say it is a little different being in pieces but lets see how it holds up.

Now let get started installing the skid plates. Again here is a before pic.http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5f03102a.jpg
Install for the rear is very easy and took me minutes. http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/...ps929bd371.jpg
2 screws and i was done.so easy one of my helpers was sleeping on the job.http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9ffcbacf.jpg
And the front was a little different had to remove the servo and use those 2 srew holes and spacers and now im done.

Everything is all done check it out http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/...ps10381a22.jpg

Those axle covers probably should be taken off. You'll see that they hang you up more and make it more difficult to go over obstacles.
