Discontinued Honcho?

I went to the local hobby store.. they told me the Honcho and Dingo are being discontinued?
I love the honcho! that truck can crawl!

I guess they must be pushing the "jeeps'! same platform..

I can believe the honcho sales have gone down. The've been out for a long time. People want the newer versions of the scx10

I tend to snicker though at the though of a wheel base change and the same hop up parts they've had for years as something new...Its the same truck with different sized links and some better shocks or so called anyway.

The body is a remake of a version they already have.

Im not impressed with the new G6 a far as development.

Not enough there to make we want one...you can duplicate it or even make it better for less money using the rubicon.

They are just milking it for all they can get before big changes

Id wait for an RTR version..Maybe it will use the brushless EXO electronics with a different KV motor.

Not that I chose brushless for a trail truck but something different electronics wise would be nice if they do go RTR with it.

That's exactly what I did. Both LHS's I go to didn't even know that the Honcho was being discontinued. Let's see what happens.

I wonder how many honchos axial has in its inventory or how many they have on order from whoever builds the parts.

They may have stopped making them a long time ago if they have enough of them.

Honcho body is my favorite for the SCX. I agree with the hard body comments too.
