Default Already upgrading my scx10 rubicon

Hi all, I just got my RTR rubicon this week and I'm already upgrading jt. Going to order steering links and suspension links. I'm also planning on switching to a stronger servo pretty soon so I want ahead and ordered a CC bec and a castle link.

Does anyone have a write up on bec install in a scx10? I've done some searching and found some generic info, but nothing scx10 specific.

There's nothing to it really. Use the castle link to set the output voltage that you want. Then the power leads get attached to your battery plug or to the battery input on the esc. Plug the connector into the Rx batt port. Take the plug from the esc and remove the red wire. You can use the tip of your xacto knife to gently pry up the tab and pull the red wire from the plug. Use electric tape to attach it back onto the wire harness. Now you can plug it into channel 2.

Or you can use one of these when they get back in stock. I'm using them in two of my rigs.

This adapter allows the use of an external BEC for servo power without needing to disable your ESCs internal BEC. Servo and BEC plug into the double wide end, and the single side plugs into the servo RX channel. Servo gets signal from the RX, and shares a dual ground path to both RX and external BEC to prevent floating ground issues.

Must have for any crawler running over 300 ounce/ inch servos!
