Youll need a set of wraith chubs/knuckles/steering arms, a set of xr universal shafts, a new tierod/draglink, and a set of rc bros/creation fab tubes

At the very least you need to sand the ends of the housing and mod a set of xr10 shafts. The better option is to use a set of beef/burly tubes to do the swap.

Do it. The steering is WAY better. Just have to Dremel 9-10mm off the XR universals, and trim some plastic on the SCX axle housing.

I just did this mod. What I used is rcbros Burly Beef Tubes, VP Wraith C hubs and knuckles, and xr universal front axles. If you use the BURLY BEEF TUBES you don't have to modify the xr axles. It will increase your front width and steering. The black hubs are plastic that I used for mock up. The red hubs and knuckles are the finished product. The tie rod is from VP also, if I remember correctly it is 160mm and the drag link is 85mm.

The RcBros versions are hands down the best set to go with.

How much wider is the wheel track over stock width?

One inch. I measured my Rubicon at 91/2" and my rig with the mod at 101/2". This is with both rigs using Proline TSL SX tires.
