Default DAF's first crawler

I'm starting this thread for the scx10 Rubicon i got for Christmas, i know its been a few days but I've been running this thing into the ground. I drive it around Christmas day with my little brother and just got the feel of it.

esc is wrapped in a balloon and zip tied to the box and receiver is in a balloon and put in the box as well, i used some dielectric grease for the servo and you can find out how to do that on axial.com. It crawls really well with all the weight in the front.

made my own links. used some traxxas rod ends 3/8 threaded rod and 9/32 aluminum rod to sleeve them, id say they turned out really good for my first time, and man i have abused these in the last few days, they are holding up great!!

so now im stuck between try and get a new piece of should i just get a set of new shocks, all 4 of these stock ones leak oil pretty bad. I'm sort of on a money pinch but i do have a little extra, im not going to go with the pro line just cause i cant spend 50+ on toy shocks, id rather put that in my real truck. i have seen people using the traxxas big bore shocks and would love some input on those or any others you guys have used!

Looks good. As far as the leaky shocks go, you could try putting better o-rings in them. If you do want to get new shocks RC4WD has quite a few, but you are still looking at about $50-$100.

I've put the Gmade junfac 93mm diaphragm shocks on three of my SCX10's and I like them. $24.00 a pair.

If you wanted to keep the shocks you could get some new spring cups that wont fall off. I use these......made by JeepinDoug. They are around $13.00 for four.
