Default First time scaler questions

Hi as it says i am new to scaling and have a couple newbie questions. I have an axial scx10 g6 kit. My two questions are: 1. why is there different length drive shafts included. and 2. during the assembly it shows the ball ends on the plastic links going in a certain way. but if you look after they are put on the axles they show them different. (pg 17 steps 14&15) does it matter how they go. thanks for any help on this matter

Default Re: First time scaler questions

1. If you change the wheel base or axle/shaft angle you can change shafts so they do not bind/fall out.
2. inserting the balls into the ball ends is easier putting in the 'small' side instead of the 'flat' side. ..the flat side is less prone to distortion/crushing.

I hope that helps, and I'm understanding what your saying (no I didn't look at the manual- I are lazy)
