Default Homemade canvas top

First try at making my own top. Just mocking everything up first. Instead of using Velcro I wanted to try something different. Used eyelets in the top and "bungee cords" to hold it down. I think it's gonna work. Wish it was warm enough so I could paint the damn thing lol.

You got a sewing machine? A stitched edge will look alot better than those staples. Good job, it will look nice when complete.

Ya my wife has three lol. Gonna sew the real one, this is all mock up to see how it looks/works. Final one will be black with a green "O" in the middle.

I made one from vinyl and had the wife sew it for me. I too wanted to stay away from the velcro look so I attached mine using the cage screws.
