A triangulated 4 link setup with the servo on the axle will always perform better for crawling than CMS with 3 link/pan hard. Bump-steer occurs when the suspension moves in a vertical plane and the drag link is trying to be lengthened or shortened by this movement. The 3-link/pan hard setup allows movement of the axle to prevent bump steer but it comes at the cost of performance. |

Yea I am aware of the panhard limitations, just love the presentation of this Kit.I know its a builders choise for set up,just wondering if guys have not like results they have found with the setup.since going with th rtr over the Kit,I have a few more items that will need attention over time.this Kit is like killing three birds with one bill. |

Do it. Get a strong, reliable servo.

Yea im thinking of it,I wanted to address traction first but the stock tires seem good.foams not so much.I added some wieght to the rims and im just going to let it ride for now.the stock links suck, but are durable but flimsy.

With a properly set up 3link/panhard/cms, the only bump steer will be in the tolerances of the rod end balls moving in the rod ends. VP stuff isn't cheap for a reason, it works. Don't hesitate to go with their stuff.

Is the high clear knuckle required for the Kit?

I've got it and it's awesome... Well worth the $115. The VP knuckles are not required with this kit

Can anyone tell me what the length of the Panhard bar is? Im trying to piece a CMS kit together since Vanquish only sells the CMS with a link kit. Thanks
