| German Dingo Defenfer !
I was asked if I could not make a building report, here it is. The car is ready, will spread the report on some days. I bought in the German forum a used kit. Then the first tire, the controller and the 4 link mount Then I started to build it all together Then one self made front of a furniture mesh and polystyrene. And my new driver from Ex2. Sly I have taken the interior from the wraith and adapted it to the body Loading area was made of polystyrene in diamond plate optics then I cut to fit the cage and passed him now I builded still a draw sheet for the cage tomorrow it continues.......... |

Looks Great. Where does the diamond plate come from? And are the wheels from RC4WD?

It continues.... now the wipers come out of the rest of my drifters then I built a snorkel from the dingo rods and the mirror were mounted the first interim result Then I painted the diamond plate front and rear and mounted the manufactured parts the antenna I built from remnants of the dingo and a fiberglass rod the homemade defender logo consists of polystyrene and the writing would be printed with the laser printer and then glued the radio device and the handset I have also made up of polystyrene, Display the speedometer and the other I bought, they are flureszierend and glow in the dark then I've got a tire and other scale parts on the loading surface mounted the belts are made of ordinary tape that was the first version of the car, but not really liked myself a friend said I should make a proper loading surface to make it look real,so I cut everything out and built polystyrene again with a new one then the wheel arches and the whole then painted and then the scale parts the number labels are also from polysyrol then another Feinstaubplakette is necessary only in Germany. the yellow thing at the bottom left the gas cap I bought on ebay and then built and plastered Last edited by yodi79; 01-04-2014 at 03:45 AM. |

Hi Thomas, nice car. Is the Carjack from hgans3? Where did you get the ratchet straps? Something I also still need. Greetings from Germany by Klaus |

Again, wonderful work! Your attention to detail is fantastic, and it has turned out beautifully. I am building a Dingo now and really like what you did with the cage and loading area, I may have to do something similar. Thank you for posting this!

Make the new one a removable top! I like the new wheels. The tires are a bit wide for Defender, I tend to think of taller skinny tires on Rover vehicles. But the ones you have are still very nice. |

Yes you're right. But the Trail Buster are very narrow and has been a very big disadvantage, on earth or mud. Then there is ain extreme Defender greets Thomas |
