| Any hope for ESC?
Running a SCX10 Honcho with stock radio, receiver, ESC. Ran fine one day, next day I have only reverse - no forward. Did some troubleshooting: resynced/reset everything, fresh batteries, tried different motors, you name it. When I resync, everything appears to complete normally. When I apply throttle, the green light on the esc comes on, but nothing at the motor. When I apply reverse, esc lights up and motor engages. Is this esc toast? It's almost a year old and showed no signs of trouble one day, then...... |

How are your throttle trims, are they set at zero? If so u would assume the esc is bad. My esc bit the dust yesterday after a motor swap. It worked great when I had it installed in the tranny then I installed the tranny into the truck 20 minutes later I went to use it the esc turns on won't sync with the tx. I tired swapping motors, swapped tx's and rx's different wiring combos. The esc just gets warm rather quickly just sitting there with the red yellow and lights going Batshit crazy which is overtemp on the sidewinder

Yep, followed Axial's instructions to the letter, set throttle trim to 0 when doing the sync. O well, I was hoping to save it as a backup, but if it's gone.......
