1972 chevy light bar Im thiking about putting my light bar from my G6 on top of my 72 long bed . I have a full light kit and will also be runing the lights in the front and rear bumpers what do you all think? http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k2...psdb4d698f.jpg http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k2...ps66c76945.jpg http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k2...ps22ca47ca.jpg |
Re: 1972 chevy light bar I think it kind of ruins the lines of the truck |
Re: 1972 chevy light bar I have the same body, I think it looks ok, maybe a tad big. Ive been eyeing the led light bars since they are a bit more low profile. |
I think it would look much better with lights mounted to a roll bar in the bed.... |
Re: 1972 chevy light bar it is out of scale, to me |
Re: 1972 chevy light bar It kills it. I think your best bet would be a led bar, save those for a different body |
Re: 1972 chevy light bar Im on the fince about it thats why i posted it. Its going to sit in the parts box. |
Re: 1972 chevy light bar The height was worrying me when I considered an led lightbar, that and enough output. Still on the fence about this but the height and durability has since proven to be trail worthy. http://i363.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps739a0ea6.jpg http://i363.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps0eb68021.jpg |
Re: 1972 chevy light bar The truck that the 72 body goes on dont see much run time. I built it to pull a trailer so I can Haul or recover my other trucks |
