Default Which Castle Field Link?

I see a bunch of them, some for a specific ESC. Do I get a general one for my SCX1) like this one?

Or would the USB kit be a better buy since it seems to be more versatile and compatible with a bunch of ESCes? I do understand you need to be at a computer whereas the field programmer you can take it with you.

Thanks! It turns out that with a USB cable you can turn the field link programming card into a USB kit once your download and install the Castle Link software on your PC. Two for one!
