| question about gmade sr02 beadlocks
Just wondering if anyone has had experience with these and how well the hold the tire? These are the stamped steel ones. Thanks in advance for any help.

I actually bought a set and I am pretty happy with them. This is my first crawler (scx10). So I don't have a lot of experience with crawlers. my other trucks are all M/T bashers. I would recommend them and they seem to run pretty true. Hope that helps.

I have a set of these as well. they seemed to hold the tire well for the short time I used them. however, they're pretty heavy compared to plastic wheels and noticably reduced my wheel speed.

Okay, think I'll try them then. I could probably find somewhere to drill holes if I find them too heavy.

Any updates on the long-term reliability of these? I want a different look for my G6, but my budget is tight.

No long term info but I just finished building up a set of these wheels for my wife's truck. These things are crazy heavy, like I picked up the box and wondered what else was in the box kind of heavy. There is a lot of material that could be machined/drilled out to lighten them up. It took a couple of tries on the first 2 wheels to get the bead seated correctly while tightening them but I got it down by the last 2 wheels. Most importantly, they look awesome on any old school or beater build. |

I have been using mine for a while now and am happy with them. They are pretty heavy. I'm not a very good driver but I haven't had any problems with them coming apart (bead coming out or screws loosening up) Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk |
