|  scx-10 brushless set up opinions
new to rock crawlers and the scx10 i got the rubicon builders kit but really need some opinions on the best esc / motor combo please give me some options i would like some speed but also torque I'm looking for a happy medium |

Will you be playing in water and or mud? Or just rocks? Have you considered a HH or brood handwound brushed motor with a brxl?

Brushless -> MMP / Tekin Rock 412 3100 Brushed Fast with smooth Crawling -> Holmes Hobbies BRXL / CrawlMaster Pro 13T Brushed -> HH BRXL/TorqueMaster Expert 27T or 35T |

I ran a CC sidewinder Esc & Traxxas VXL on 2s Lipo with 23/87 gearing for a few years it was way to fast for crawling but fun for tooling around my yard and destroying drive train components I now have a Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster 1340 (1000KV) Motor with a Castle Sidewinder V2 esc on 2s . I have not tested it yet but soon as the snow melts I will test it out I assume going from a 3600KV to a 1000KV motor and gearing down to 15/87 It'll make a massive improvement in crawling |
