Default SirKarnage's RTR Rubicon build thread

So I really have never done a build thread before. Since I bought a RTR version 2012 Jeep Rubicon I didn't think it was valid to do so...

I did add a few things/mods already..
Added the 3racing winch..

Did the wraith interior set thing..

Had a whole cluster #*€% mess with and Integy light bar...

So I decided to order a few parts..
Which came in today...

More are still on the way...

So I decided to start easy.. Added the new delrin rings to my axial wheels..

Installed the VP light bar, running the wire to a seperate 3s 800mah pack...

Then I installed the Mad Skinz soft top..

Now on to the other parts..
4 Link setup

Steering Links

MIP Drive shafts

Axial Universals

Now to get those installed

I'll update the post as soon as the other parts come in to finish it up (ha like it will ever be "finished")

And to think I still forgot to buy a new servo!!!!

Reese

Yes it is a lot of goodies, and more on the way, and more to be ordered yet.

The soft top is really nice. There's another vendor/design I'm looking into now as well, BigD's I believe it is, who can hopefully come up with what I'm looking for.. He has a thread on the forum here.

Added the Junfac wheel wideners, red 12mm

Here's a tire mounted.. Stock rings were also changed out on all corners and the spare...

And some pics showing the new stance...

And of course added all the other bits of Vanquish/MIP/universals installed (no need for
pics lol)

Still need the CMS and pan hard, better servo, bumpers, leaf springs and scale shocks, and about a million other things..

Your going with leaf springs? Be interesting to see how it performs.

Got in the front bumper / winch from Yotpane. Mounted it up in a quick hurry after work last night. Still need to get the lights mounted and the body squared up.. Seems to be hitting something now (totally unrelated to the bumper)

It's Chell. From the game portal. I did some trimming (removed the top portion of her coat/overalls that was around her waist) and re-colored her pants (not that you can see them).

Here's a photo from the interwebs.

Dunn: You know it's for Papa Shims...maybe

Autonomous: I found the picture on google a few years back, tweaked it a bit and have been using it on all of my vehicles since.

It also helps to have Dunn Graphics as a friend He paints them for me
Here are a few of the examples lol

I really like that front bumper, is that from a vender on the forum or an individual?

It's a mass production: I believe some are now in stock at A-Main hobbies, but here's a link from RPP's site
