Arrow Rusty Ford F100 SCX10

This thing has been collecting dust for years and decided to order some electrics and a body. It started as a kit truck back when the upper links were aluminum and the Honcho and Dingo didn't exist yet, yea its been that long! Heres the specs:
-original scx10 kit
-RC4WD 35t motor 23/87 gearing
-Rooster Crawler esc
-Traxxas TQ2.4 radio and receiver
-Traxxas 2075 servo
-Venom 5000ma 8.4 hump pack
-RC4WD 1.9 wheels and Rock Crushers
-Ford F-100 body for Monster Trucks, believe its from Proline
Body isn't mounted yet but heres some pics (I wasn't the one to paint the body)

Body looks good but those wheels are way to clean. it needs some raw steelies, dust em with salt water and let them sit outside for a day or so. Should give them some good real rust.

I agree with you, but its the only 1.9s I have at the moment. They been on the truck since it been built. Thanks for the idea about the salt water!

It looks like a big ole piece of junk and I say that in a good way. I agree about the wheels. The rag in the gas filler is great. You need to "rust" the axle housings too. Nice magnet on the fridge, BTW. ;)

Been a while since I updated this. since then I added steel bumpers and 100mm budget shocks ($26 shipped). The bumpers were too heavy, plus I wanted a little more shock travel.

Added some HotRacing c-hubs and RC4WD knuckles. Both are quality parts and fit great! I rotated the c-hubs toward the rear since I plan on rotating the front axle forward to help with drive shaft angle.
