Default Battery weight?

I recently purchased slider battery/ electronics mounts from fifth element. I am looking at getting a pair of 2700 3s lipos. They weigh 7.7oz's a piece. Just under 1 lb. between the pair. Good weight wise or too heavy?

The pair of 2600 4s I run weigh 8.5oz. each and I don't think they are too heavy at all. Mounting them on sliders keeps CG down low and is good for front to rear weight balance.
