Default Gmade R1 axles into a scx10

how does it work out? they pretty strong? would be running 3 and 4s. any pics? thinking about trying this out.. see how it goes thanks

I am using R1 axles with SCX10 Rubicon. Not too hard to do make it work.
The R1 axle has the steering servo off to the side so you have to use CMS.

I am still have to do some changes to the CMS to keep the panhard from hitting the chassis and servo.

i would think they are strong enough. they have not broke on my 6th scale that I've built and would say they have close to 20 hours on them now and its no light weight. but I have read that the bearings dont last long so i put alot of grease in the axles and its what I"ll use on the second build I do. have not been in the hobby grade rc long and less in the 4x4 part so there is guys better suited to answer your question. the axles are around 10 inches wide
