Scx10 wheelbase

Hi all
I've got a the above truck with a wheelbase of 11.4 inches, I've shortened it. Will this be short enough for a hard body landrover d90? It says there 277mm so that's a bit smaller than my truck would I get away with it or need to make my wheelbase even shorter.

Well...messure your wheelbase and compare it to the wheelbase of the body. If the wheelbase of the body is 277 mm and the wheelbase of your truck is 11.4 inches or 289.56 mm. Then your wheelbase is 12.56 mm to long. So yes you'll have to make it shorter.

What wheelbase have other people used for the scx10 with the d90 hard body?

If the body is X amount of wheel base then all of them will be the same wheel base if they used the same body you have or want to use.

Wheel base should be measured center to center of the wheel openings.

You have to put the body on and see how far you have to bring the rear in for it to fit properly...You'll more than likely have to make custom links.

The shortest wheel base scx10 is the Dingo at 11.4" inches...The G6 is 12.0 and the honcho/rubicon is 12.3
