AX10 to SCX10 G6

Well, I finally decided to convert my old AX10 into an SCX10. Since 99% of the guys in our club have scale trucks, I figured it would fit better with our style of crawling.

The bumper is one I made out of sheet metal, not very pretty but certainly functional. I went with a Jevne Racing CMS to mount everything to. I'll probably stick with the axle mounted servos for now. I need to get a new front servo. The traxxas on I put on there is only temporary. Powerplant is a Reedy 17.5 X-12 and controlled by a Speed Passion GT2.0 esc. I thought it would be pretty cool to have a 4WS G6 so I carrried that over from the AX10. For now I will stick with the stock Rock Lizards. I like that they are pretty short for 2.2s. The bumper and interior have been sprayed with bed liner spray. The body is painted in Kryptonite Gold.

Update:
I changed the tires to a set of Pro-Line 2.8 Trenchers I had laying around, and added a light set. I went cheap and added an extra led to the original 4 so I could use all the spots on the light bar. Since I didn't have any spare leds left I tested the red ones out in the headlights. After seeing them work, I decided I liked it and left it like that. plus it makes it look more menacing against the green. I also made a new bumper since the last one met a tree. The truck is a little tricky to drive with no springs and a 17.5 brushless motor.
