Default SCX10 Issues.

I purchased a SCX10 Wrangler RTR from my LHS. This was supposed to be a gift for my sister, her first r/c. I get it home and figured I would charge up the battery and test everything out. (just a 6-cell 2400) My first issue was that when it was boxed the tires weren't in the spots in the cardboard and now they're all flat spotted and deformed. Will they get better? I attempted to drive it and had no reverse. So I went through the steps of binding the tx/rx and programming the esc (RTR comes with AX-3 tx and AE-2 esc) I have steering, I have forward. No reverse. The red led lights up when I attempt to reverse but no movement. I switched motor leads, then have no forward. (good motor) Also, It seems to drive ok for a minute or two but then slows down like a dead battery, If you stop for 10-20 seconds then drive again it's ok for another minute or two. I dont even know where to begin with that issue.

+1 on that. I would make them either fix it or replace the truck. Could just be a bad esc

I'll give an update on my situation. First off, my LHS was awesome in that they said it wouldn't be a problem to return it and order me another. I did not want to return the truck because we had a family trip planned where we were all going to be R/Cing. They said to run the tires on a fast car to "stretch" them out. This worked great. Then after swapping motors, esc's and finally rx/tx, we narrowed it down to the tx/rx. Which had bad batteries! This is why it wouldn't program and would die after running for a while. BTW, my sis loves it and has been running the crap out of the truck!

I would call axial or wherever you bought it from because if its new and came broken then you should get an exchange or your money back for sure
