Default The G Spot #6 Build

Hi guys,

As some of you will know ive got a new axial G6 before Xmas from 110Crawlers (thanks guys!). It has sat in the box unopened since and today I opened the first packet! :sly:

But that's all ive got for now

Thought the G Spot was a good name seeing friends tell me jeeps make the girls wet

Its going to be very special though, got some stuff coming from the US as others vendors have jumped on board to help make it a one of a kind It will be built to C2 spec (Australian, not sure if they are the same as US) I was looking to fit both but to meet C1 made it pointless for C2 IMO

The good thing to come from me entering scale (yep my first scale rig lol) is i'll be making a few options for you guys to use in your comp rigs... Also since im new to scale feel free to give opinions etc on how yous would like to see parts made for the scale market

Stay tuned as this unfolds very soon....

Cheers
Dan

Gearbox adapter is a nice little piece, gives mounting options for skinny & normal with a range of depth also and mounts nice to the scx10 skid, just a knock up in G10 for now as it my change in the next couple of weeks... I really like the fact it center's the output shaft, could make it user friendly for those narrowing wraith axles??

Anyway my chassis is here now.. just waiting on parts for front diff and shocks then I'll have me a roller!

Cheers

Had some bits arrive from 110Crawlers :-)
So started the front diff.. HD gears, rcbros tubes and VP goodies!

And I forgot to get a pic of the front axle done so instead I'll share a part that I make for the 4" VP LED light.. and yes I do sell them...

Building the front diff... im using RCBros tubes, I had to mod them, couldn't find a bearing to fit inside them so I made some delrin sleeves to keep the crap out the the front end.. I also couldn't get the wraith cubs to go all the way onto the spline so lathed a lip getting rid on the spline at the end... they fit nicely now :-) the tubes are great quality though and I'll buy again without question :-)
