Question Aluminum flat bottom SCX skid?

does anyone make an aluminum skid for the SCX that has a flat bottom? ie even with the bottom of the rails like the old AX-10? ie doesnt have the drop down for the links etc?

What about delrin? And wont the SCX bolt in?

Not scx btw, the width is probably old ax10 style...

Width should be the same. I've never owned an ax10 skid but instead used scx10 skids on my stock ax chassis and tcs edge without issue.

I also picked up the skid plate from eBay. I tell ya, the fit is perfect. These guys nailed it. For $11.99, I'm not sure you can beat it.

Do the channels in the stock skid not help? I assumed as they are directional they can help keep me pointing in the right direction when slithering over the rocks. If it were flat and I was almost bottoming out any wheel that got traction would be more likely to spin me off course.

no im using it for a jig for welding. i have one of those. they are too narrow. and ive melted delrin from the heat before. i need it to hold up over and over....over time.

AX-10 skid is narrower, for what im doing the width is critical.

looks like i may have to have something made.
