Lightbulb Axial SCX10

I am wanting an axial scx10 i am wanting to know, from you guys, which one to get. First off, should i get a kit or a rtr? And between the trail honcho or the rubicon unlimited?

They're the same thing, just with different bodies.

A little different in the layout, the Honcho comes with forward stock battery placement and the Rubicon comes with rear battery placement...

The kits are fun to build if you have the time and tools. It also allows you to do some custom work, like paint. I just finished a dingo kit and replaced most of the hardware and trimmed the crossmembers for clearance. Also I think the wheelbases on the trucks vary. I went with the dingo because of the shorter wheelbase. The kits also come with extra parts and optional mounting spots for the battery(the dingo does anyway). Good luck and have fun!

Is this just because the bodies have different clearances? Which battery placement is better than the other? I see a lot of people moving it to the front.
