| elects ?
This may sound dumb but after a few weeks of saving for the honcho ive been watching videos on youtube for this truck and some how got to videos about the traxxas summit. My ? Is with the summits larger motor would the summits elects fit in the scx10? I would deffinatly upgrade the trans and drive shafts for those elects if they would fit. |

The motor won't fit, it's a 700 size if I remember right and the Axial trans will only fit 540s. The ESC is huge too, the whole thing is overkill for a scaler.

Thats what I thought. I figured since the summit was supposed to be a crawler/speeder it would work. When I get it I want to keep it as scale as possible. |

Simple, effective and budget friendly would be a 540 brushed setup. Plenty of torque and scale speeds if you match the right turn motor to the input voltage you want to use.

I had a summit at 1 time and loved to backyard bash. The snow was fun as well. The summit is no scaler. Dont get me wrong, its a great no holds barred do almost anything rc no doubt! However, its to big #1 and #2 the IFS suspension doesnt make it scale. The motor is 2 big for a axial trans. I have a g6 I converted to a honcho and a jeep rubicon. Im working on both vehicles to get ready for when the weather breaks here in Michigan. Well enjoy your scaler!
