| 2.2 tires and Gearing
Hello, I am new to the rock crawling world, I just had a question. I just got an scx10 honcho rtr and I went ahead and purchased some 2.2 tires along with it. My question is, when people say change the gearing to run 2.2 tires. What gearing are they talking about? All I really know is the motor is 27t, but what other gearing is involved and what should I change when going to 2.2 tires? Thank you |

I run 2.2's with the 43/13 gears in the axle, 87 spur and 17 pinion, with a Holmes Hobbies 35turn motor. It crawls not too bad, not too sure if I want to lower my pinion some more.
