| rockrigcustoms first scx wroncho build up.
desided to make my scx a wroncho scx links centered rear wraith axle passenger side (chevy) front drop centered rear axle with truss and lower diff guard custom front top link mount to eliminate driveshaft issues trans side of link. ground down inner trans mounting holes and sandwiched mount in there links all in fits great and no driveshaft issues my temp. trac bar mount to get everything lined up. will b redone when frame is stripped for paint. u can barely see the axle side trac bar mount thats bolted through link and shock mounts on axle, u can see my first top link idea but it interferred with driveshaft and shock travel. front sits nice. new ti steering links are ready to be made. goin to b upgrading to some proline powerstrokes for a slash 4x4(rear for some taller stance and more axle clearance. more to come. they are stock width wraith axles. yes i ground down the trans 1/8" where that link mount sits so it would still sit level. works great.

Oh yeah BTW i tried the 3 link and it was very loose with TONS of side to side play. How did you keep yours from doing this or solve it?

the links are all stock 12.5" wb length. the 3 link def needs trac bar to be stable side to side! ill try to get some better pics of the trac bar setup as i tear it apart for paint. |
