| SCX10 Front Axle Jumpy, binding?
PROBLEM SOLVED, it was because i didnt put the driveshaft back in exactly the same way. The pins on the shafts need to be parrallel to each other. I am going to edit my video so you guys can see Hello, i just installed a small lift kit to fit my 2.2 tires. i also installed the axial aluminum link upgrade and when i accelerate the front axle bounces at slow speeds. I don't know if its binding or what? Can anyone help? how can i fix this? I made a video so you guys can see what i am talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSVFM...ature=youtu.be Thanks guys Last edited by 123nanez; 03-15-2014 at 10:24 PM. |

take off your wheels, and try then... if it does not bounce then, the wheels are to blame... ... JP using Tapatalk |

Looks like the lift is causing the drive shafts to bind a little. If you can clock your axles some so the pinions are pointing up towards the transmission more it will smooth it out. If you leave it they will wear out very quick and/or break.

hey 123nanez i just wanted to say I was having the same issue with binding. It drove me nuts and I never thought to check the driveshaft. My problem was that the screws that hold the shafts to the joints had backed out and was letting it wobble and be 'longer'. Glad you figured it out because that was a ****ing annoying problem.
