Definitely agree with tsl swampers. Was running them air filled on my honcho before body mod took me in a different direction. Sorry if having a honcho pic throws off look. They are definitely a good choice though.

I went with the same Pitbull rock beast true as well. A lot of us run that tire here locally and we all love it

TSL SX. They made a 110% improvement in my rig. Run them in 1.9 & 2.2 classes. Pitbull 1.9's are awesome, but their sidewalls are way too easy to rip.. Just my .02.

I have a set of boggers now. Unless you plan on trimming body or lifting, might wanna stay around the 4.3 tire size. Boggers are big. Here's a comparison pic.
If you like that look though. Look up mud slingers.

4.3 vs 4.8

Proline TSL's work amazingly well. Snow, mud, rocks....having much more fun with my rig over stock ripsaws.

Agree with this. I'm running the rockbeasts with C.I's closed cell foams. Amazing results. I've ran the original proline tsl's, trepadors, boggers, iroks, ripsaws and flat irons. My preference over all is the rockbeasts. They just flat out work on everything I've tried them on. You can't go wrong with either the proline tsl's or the pitbull rockbeasts. The rc4wd x2 ss compound tires also work pretty well.

Rc4wd tsl boggers, no foams as long as ya got a good beadlock wheel. In this pic the Boggers are mounted on Gear Head Sixer 1.9's I added some scale lugs. I just added the new manual locking Warn hubs from Rpp and the setup performs as good as they look. Almost a year of hard trailing with my club and zero probmems. No foams!!!

This is Ford country, on a quiet night you can hear a Chevy rust.

Tires pictured are 4.3. Boggers are 4.79 I believe. With no foams on air tight bead locks.

I have not tested Rock Beasts, but I know the 4.3 tsl's perform and I think they would look more scale than the XL's on a stock scx10 kit. I could be wrong but I would think the XL's would rub while compressed and turning.

Go with the smaller size tsl 1.9s they are flat out amazing in all conditions. Sidewalks are better than the pit bulls.
