adding 4 link truss to front axle - servo mount ok? I got a 4 link kit that requires me to add the 4 link truss to the front axle. this will leave me with only two mount points for the axle mount servo tray. Will that be strong enough? |

Re: adding 4 link truss to front axle - servo mount ok? Yes, its the way the servo plate is mounted on the ar60 axles. Also there are servo plate/4 link plates that allow both to be used along with the ability to keep that 3/y link thingy for the 3rd hole. Making links helps with not being locked into any setup "thumbsup" |
Re: adding 4 link truss to front axle - servo mount ok? you could always get a chassis mount for the servo |
Re: adding 4 link truss to front axle - servo mount ok? Thanks for the replies and suggestions! I am leaning towards a 4-link servo mount plate... seems like a solid option. for $5 and some shipping not going to break the bank and I like having that extra mount spot for the plate.. but now the top links will put stress on the plate also. I am probably being overly cautious considering I won't be punishing this truck too much. ;-) |
