Default scx10 Yota first scale 4x4 project

Hey all, new here. I've had my scx for a few months now, and have recently started modifying it. It started as a honcho RTR, and I ran it a few times stock.

Before buying a set of axial beadlocks, gearhead lock rings, rc4wd compasses, and an rc4wd yota body.

Once it was painted, I ran it a few times before my Gpm racing c hubs, knuckles, and linkage came.

Then it got an amf racing skid plate, and amf racing lift plates.

I've also built a set of inner fenders for it. I'm Currently waiting on my Vanquish 4 link conversion, a set of rc4wd steel rock sliders, and a few other small parts to come so that I can do more with it.

New shocks, boots, and an strc aluminum rear link mount came today. Rc4wd superlifts in 100mm. Also got a sweet matchbox 4runner to toss in the bed as a scaler for my truck.

Heres a short test vid

Tested it on the rocks today. Did great, superlifts and 4 link improved it a lot.

Do you have the 27t motor? How did the 18/87 work out for ya?Your from wheeling...that's cool.I'm from Charleston. Oh every time I see a set of those compass tires I laugh..Those side walls are a riot. You'd think that someone would have noticed that....lol

Yeah it does good with the 18/87, and as for the sidewalls

Great looking Yota. I just got the same wheels/beadlock rings in the mail and im glad i got to see what they look like in your picture. Whats the next body going to be? planning on keeping the Yota shell or possibly parting with it?

They remind me of Toyo side walls on my truck. might have to pick a set of those up for my next build.
Great looking truck, looking forward to seeing new body.

Posing a pic of my tire,

Posing a pic of my tire,
I think they're designed after toyo's, and I really like them. Do great in rocks and not bad in dirt. And thanks!

It'll probably become a garage wall hanger, and thank you!

New body is a team blue groove 4runner, it came without decals or masks and I had some tape issues, but it came out alright for what it is. Last one only lasted a month so We'll see how the runner holds up.
I'll have better pics up tomorrow

All it needs now is a set of T-Rex 60 ARB editions under!

Truck looks great! I like the look of both the bodies you have there. Do you plan on doing an interior?

Thank you! No, I'm probably not going to worry about an interior at this point. Although I did order new bumpers for it. Should have them by this weekend
