Default Servo horn

Ok I apologize in advance for the noob question. I'm upgrading my new scx 10 and starting with the steering links and wanted to do the servo horn as well. I see I have a few choices in size but I'm not sure if I need the 23 24 or 25t one, could anyone help me out?

If it's the stock servo it's a 25t, if not stock servo it depends what servo brand it is

It is the stock servo, I thought it was a 25 t but I just wanted to double check before I order the new one.

You could just count them and know for sure.

Default Re: Servo horn

get an alloy clamp on style servo horn...
ie: the Axial mfgr'd clamping horn works well

The original AS2 servo is 25T

but the servo needs help if ya want it to survive
more then a few battery packs run thu' it.

The two output bushings (plastic)
need be replaced with ball bearings.
otherwise...
the servo's output shaft will become sloppy in a few runs.
This will lead to gear mesh issues and eventually servo failure

I would just go with the axial horn, nice and beefy. I just changed mine out, and managed to change the plastic bushing with a bearing while I was down there working on the servo.
