Default Brushless motor options

For trail riding I'm trying to a Brushless setup for use with my brushless esc thats collecting dust. I'm trying to keep the budget for this motor under $60 but I'm open to suggestions. Of course this has to be sensored.

Also what pinion setup works well with your suggestion?

I currently think a Turnigy TrackStar 17.5T Sensored Brushless Motor 2270KV (USA Warehouse) with a 16 tooth pinion/stock spur (87) should work good. but I want to know what people think.
