Default Gmade 103mm shocks very stiff. Help needed!!!

Hello,
I haven't been on the forums in a while but anyways lately I swapped the shocks between my honcho and jeep. My jeep is a mud truck and it has the Gmade 103mm aeration shocks equipped on it. I noticed that they are very stiff and don't have much rebound. I had these on my honcho for about 4 months and didn't realize it. (My honcho has 110mm king shocks now). I have a droop kit from 3racing or whatever so it helps but I don't get much flex out of it. I would say it flexes about 3 inches, which isn't much. What should I do? I could put 15wt oil in them to try to fix it but that may be to thin. I built these shocks and they seem to work fine but it is not acceptable with the flex and stiffness. My jeep is totally waterproof. Any help would be great, thank you!

P.S.- Those aeration shocks are very hard to adjust! I regret buying them now.

Airation shocks are just like any other shock that doesnt use a resivoir, it is possible that you may have the shocks too full of shock oil or your springs are very stiff

Yeah that may be true, thank you. I'll check them when I get home. I could rebuild them or replace the oil and then adjust from there. Thanks again,

I got some GMade shocks recently for my SCX10 and found the springs were way to stiff. I had a full set of Proline springs laying around and tried some different combos, ended up with very soft springs and now the suspension / shocks work amazingly well.

Same here, I thought the g-made springs were too stiff. I picked up the g-made soft spring set and still didn't like it. I'm running a soft set of pro-line springs now and it seems to do much better. I'm even using the slider and the second spring on my g-made 103 shocks.

Hmm okay, that will work. What is the part number on those pro-line spring set?

Thank you for your input. Do you know what the part number is on the springs you used?

The scx10 springs are tight but fit over the gmade cartridges .. At which point you have a dual spring set up ... And spring options ...I run 35 weight oil and have plenty of flex but I'm also running a tf2 chassis with a " wroncho " set up specifically for mud

Alright I'll get them but I have a event coming up and my truck won't be ready by then so I'll just take it as it is. Its a mud event anyways. Although, scx10 springs are very small so will they really fit? Anyways thank you for your input!

I used the pro-line rear slash springs #6063-04. Here's how they fit
