Problem with getting max throttle..

Rebuilt a few different rc's over the winter. I had swapped in a Spektrum receiver into one of my SCX10's. After the swap I noticed my stock Axial 20t motor is now running slower than the stock Axial 27t motor in my Rubicon.

Any ideas on what may have changed? Along with the swapping in the spektrum recever I also changed the controller to a DX3C. Ive tried resetting the settinging on the DX3C and also re binding. Still not turning as fast.

Is there any way to reset the ESC? I read tsoemthing about the ESC determining what the max throttle is by how much you pull the trigger when turning it on? or something along those line?

Re: Problem with getting max throttle..

Maybe throttle percentage adjustments on the radio itself?

Re: Problem with getting max throttle..

you need to re calibrate your esc to your radio.

1. turn on your radio.
2. hold full throttle on your radio and turn on the esc.
3. you will hear some slower beeps.
4. when it starts beeping fast go straight to full break.
5. wait till fast beeps again.
6. let go of the break.
7. let it finish beeping and the esc will reset.
8. your esc should be programed to your radio now.
