Default Lift kit/driveshaft issue

I just installed a lifttkit in my scx 10. To accommodate larger tire.. On the test run I blew out the front drive shaft..any info on what type to buy-how to adjust axel angel would be great,.... Thanks in advance

Change the length of your suspension links to correct the angles.
Depending on the height you raised it you may need to change you front axle steering components or it will steer like crap.

Or a better way, lower it back down and cut the body.

lengthen the upper links 3-4 mm
and clock the front axle (rotate ^ forward)

You may need increased caster Chubs and knuckles
to do this effectively/properly.

The king pin axis should angle rearward at its upper side.
some positive caster should remain to be correct.

if you drive slow (crawl)
you could get away with zero caster.

But you don't want to have negative caster.

clocking the axle results in a host of other issues
that will need be attended to... for proper correction.

search here or google "clocking axle" for further information.

Thanks guys!... Great info... I'll def try those ideas and let ya know how I make out... I'm new to crawlers/scalers but not he RC world... Wish I would have known it was a nightmare before I installed and trashed my truck. :-/

Also, if you're googling, it's spelled "caster". "Castor" will just tell you about beans and stars.
