| Project Orange Crush
Hey all, back here after quite the hiatus. Couldn't stay out of it any longer so I picked up a project SCX10 from a buddy. I'll let the picture tell you how much of a project this is. LOL Basically, it needs a hardware kit, links, transmission, body, rims, tires, electronics, and a little bit of TLC. I'll be building this as a stock truck to get me back into it. It'll be built with a PL Wrangler 2 door body, RC4WD 5 Lug Wagon Wheels, RC4WD Mickey Thompson Baja Claws, Tekin FXR, and a Tekin 35T motor. It will be driven on a Venom 2S 5000mah and controlled by the Axial AX3. |

I have the same body, wheels and tires that you are going to use, and I love all of them!

Tore down the axles last night for a cleaning and to prepare them for the RCScrewz stainless screw kit and Axial links I ordered. All seemed dirty but good.... But not all is as it seems.... |

The RCScrewz kit was backordered so a KNK hardware kit is on the way and should be here tomorrow. In the meantime I assembled my transmission and lower links. I'm using plastic upper links. |

Finally looks kinda like a vehicle again... LOL Also, major thumbs up to KNK Hardware. The kit had more than enough screws of every kind and the only factory screws I used were set screws for the links, bumpers, sliders, and driveshafts. |

Thank you for the kind words. Yes I like to keep it simple. Makes for a more reliable rig. I am using the hex adapter for the rims. | |
