Default Wraith axles installed into SCX10- Driveshaft help...PICS

I just did the swap, runs great but the drive shafts are rubbing the upper links, even after I shaved them.

What Driveshaft would you recommend? I need a thinner one in diameter.

Thanks for any help.

high clearance 30degree upper links would help.

I made bent upper links for mine with Allthread.
But, it looks lime you could get away with flipping the trans.

The trans/motor is switched already! I had to because the driveshaft angle was so bad it was barely spinning the axles.

You need to flip your axles so the diff cover is on the other side

When I had it like yours it seemed the driveshaft angle was so much it was binding like crazy!

This is how mine is and the drives hafts have been fine for well over a year. Mine has a 12.5" wheelbase though and yours looks shorter.

What links can you recommend to stretch the rear back further? (length)

Is your wheelbase about the same as a Wraith now?

I know my scx-10 is shorter than my Wraith

I had it out on the rocks today, Drove great but like you guys stated...longer wheel base would be great and different upper links to eliminate rubbing.

Then I swapped the tires out...they were too damn big!

These 2.2's are way better

I made all my links so I just made them to the length I wanted and needed. I am not sure what you would need as far as buying them other than measure what you have and talk to somebody that makes the like VP or Chaotic Crawlers and tell them what you have and what you want.

This is the way I've got my links, full flex both ways, no rubbing on driveshafts. Wb is 12.5

That is pretty cool how the upper links are bolted to the outside of the chassis!
