Default Dual NIMH Batteries

Due to the unfortunate situation of my SC ESCs not being abloe to use the NIMHs, I am going to use them in the SCX10. I have a pair of them and they are 7 cell. Yes, big and heavy. My thought is to mount one in the rear location and the other in the front (alternate) location. I figure this will help offset the added weight to the rear. Like your thoughts before I buy a second battery mounting plate.

Thanks

Check out the BPC sliders. They would sit well on them with some velcro straps.

I would be a lipo or 2 and call it a day with running 1 at a time.. Not much weight gains at all as long as your under the 5000mah mark..

LiPo is my preference as well. Trying to put these two batteries to some use. Should have said I plan to run them one at at a time. Sorta like carrying extra gas. All I can do is give it a try.

You can build a battery plate pretty easy to fit on stock or aftermarket sliders...or buy battery plates..few companies make em.

Or do as you planned.
Im gonna eventually build trays to hold dual lipos on my Trail Tough sliders...just got to get around to it. Already soldered up a parallel plug adaptor
