| SCX10 Deadbolt RTR http://www.bigsquidrc.com/tag/axial/ Should sell much better than the AX10 Deadbolt..... Good price as well. Pity they didn't use the G6 body though.... :( would have had the possibility to sell like hot cakes ..... Last edited by mr lee; 05-02-2014 at 03:25 AM. |

Another rebodied sxc10 release from axial. Great for people who are buying their first rig though.

$299 for a rtr? Am I reading that correctly? That's a great price if it is...might have to buy a third scx10 |

| Re: SCX10 Deadbolt RTR TowerHobbies.com | Axial 1/10 SCX10 Deadbolt 4WD EP 2.4GHz RTR Must be right, wonder if it's priced like that to compete with the Telluride. Those are a little cheaper, but this will be way more capable out of the box and not as likely to toast the motor on the first day of use too! Here's the Telluride http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...=LXDVAE**&P=ML Last edited by BJoe; 05-02-2014 at 09:50 AM. |

Weird that Axial doesn't have it on their website yet. That is a good deal for a RTR and waterproof.

Now it's on Axial's website. The towerhobbies pic doesn't do the color justice. Liking the bright green! Besides a waterproof ESC looks like it gets a new Tactic steering servo.

Too funny! I just did this for my son's new SCX10! The body is pretty darn close to a G6...without the licensing! I like the green though. Think the wheel wells are too big for 1.9's though. |

combine the $299 price plus the $25-30 off from towerhobbies (and free shipping) it's a sweet little rig! While i agree, it's another rebodied scx10, it's got upgrades where it counts AND costs less than previous RTR's |

Just seen the info on axial's site. Wow! Nice indeed. All you need to do to make it a G6 RTR is purchase the G6 body set for around $37 as the deadbolt cage is compatible with the G6, bar a few spacers |

This is very tempting. I have been thinking about getting a 2nd rig.

You know, i really like my AX10 Deadbolt but this new one looks good too. I can't wait to see how the new esc and servo holds up compared to the stock AX10 esc and servo.

I think I might have to add to the fleet, I honestly think it looks great for the price. If only they would come out with some bead lock wheels.

I want one. With the price of this rtr being at a new low maybe people on ebay will stop thinking there parts are worth gold. Last edited by FATALLYILL; 05-03-2014 at 09:06 PM. |

According to another thread the esc is a cheap re branded variant. Hence the reason for being able to keep the price down! Waterproof aside, Time will tell how well it performs compared to the AE2.... |
