Does anyone know if the vp currie links will work on stock axles?

They probably will, but they may not be too happy. The Currie axles have totally different link positions than the stock SCX10 axles. You're better off buying the Vanquish link set that works with your model (G6 or Honcho/Jeep Wrangler).
