Hi all, just to show my rebuild Hilux in a bit retro style. 1.) Grinding old color 2.) Prepare for stripes .) 3.) 4.) Stripes 5.) New box for receiver and esc - waterproofed by Plastidip 6.) 7.) Some scale inside stuff 8.) 9.) 10.) 11.) 12.) 13.) |

Good work, but I dont like what u do with the ESC. When is closed in the box u prevent cooling and may overheat some day. The best way is to disassemble your ESC, and protect it with clear lacquer spray, at least 6-7 coats, even under the radiator! than the water can not stop affect you |

Thx for reply. Regarding the ESC, im doing this for a long time usualy i always have DSYS esc and now i go for the Robitronic. Never happend to overheat with plastidip on it. So im fine woth this solution and can "swim" under water. |
