Picked up a new addition to my axial family Traded my slash for another scx10. It started life as an rtr rubi, but I quickly ditched that and made it my own. Still debating on going 1.9 or 2.2 for this build. Here's a couple quick shots I took after the body was done. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/20/4a4upyge.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/20/u9uzysuj.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/20/neza8u4a.jpg Sent from my iPhone |
Re: Picked up a new addition to my axial family well done sir!"thumbsup" go for the 2.2's you have the clearance on the body to do so. |
Picked up a new addition to my axial family Couple flex shots. Re: Picked up a new addition to my axial family Got some goodies from my LHS last night. Dynamite Tazer ESC and a Savox servo (model SW-0231MG). metal upper and lower links should be here today in the mailbox too. Still waiting on a set of 1.9 TSL boggers and proline 8 hole beadlocks that i found from the for sale section also. Slowly this build is coming together. Any advice on what I should upgrade next would be much appreciated! |
I did have to modify the sliders to fit the HPI bronco shell. It was quick, easy, and free. Just used my parts tree cutters and a corse nail file. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/22/4avesavy.jpg Sent from my iPhone |
Re: Picked up a new addition to my axial family Hell ya. NOTHING better than the EBs!!!! |
Re: Picked up a new addition to my axial family I saw go for the 2.2 you have plenty of room for them with that body. |
Decided on some 1.9 super swamper boggers for the rig. I'm happy with it. Also added some gmade 103mm piggy backs and a droop kit to help keep cog down. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/28/7ehapaty.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/28/ugypabaj.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/28/u5yvypeh.jpg Sent from my iPhone |

Re: Picked up a new addition to my axial family Where'd you find that Yota body? It looks just like a 1:1 we would beat up back in the day, minus the rock sliders. |
It's an rc4wd trail stomper shell. I found it here on the for sale section. You might be able to find them on eBay though. Sent from my iPhone |
Thanks. |
Re: Picked up a new addition to my axial family Sad to say, my yota had a run in with a careless biker on a trail. He clipped my rig and did this. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/10/anyrezaq.jpg So here's the newest look for my scx10. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/10/yvuqazy6.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/10/e8y9ate7.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/10/by3e6y8e.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/10/amuqarat.jpg |
