First scx10. JK kit build.

Hey, this is my first scx10 kit. In the process of finishing off a tube chassis 2.2 rig right now as well.

I know this is nothing fancy or impressive, but its my first one. Pretty much building it as it is out of the box, then start making changes over time, as needed. First changes are going to be steel bumpers and sliders. Really dont like the stock plastic ones at all.

Now some pics.

Oooohh, Aahhhh. the box

That's a lot of parts.

Roller (yes, the tires are backwards, I'm used to the tranny in my other truck facing the opposite direction and didnt even look at the frame/axles, so based tire install on that lol)

Body bits (I HATED doing this body btw. Kinda rushed it and windshield/roof fitment is off.)

Interior. Some of the decals were used, not all. Still need a steering wheel, the kit one seems too big. On the hunt for a decent driver as well.

Let there be light!

Proline roofrack and a lightbar I made myself out of scrap metal, cheap led strip, some clear polycarbonate, and some window screen mesh.

Well, that's all the pics for now. I will keep this post updated as I add onto the jeep. So far I'm really happy having an scx, totally different feel from my 2.2 rig, but still, can do a lot more than I thought it could.

Electronics as it sits.

Axial tranny/gearing
Axial 20t
Hitec 5646wp servo
Spektrum rx/tx
Generic no name light kit (headlights, brake lights, reverse lights)
Homemade light bar (powered by a seperate 3s 1000mah battery)
2s 5300 mah battery

Thanks for looking. As I said, I will update this thread as progression is made.

Tyson.
