Default My Dingo.. Military style

Hey Guys,
New member on the forum but long time reader..
Been in and out of RC for over 20 years.. going to more scale projects now.
I recently put together my new rig.. this is my second scx10 , first was a stock rtr honcho (sold it)
I missed it so i decided to get a dingo kit and go for a military theme.
I painted the outside in olive drab and the inside silver and black...so when it gets scuffed it will show the silver underneath.

Running gear:
Tekin fxr
Tekin 55t (sloooow)

Mods:
Made custom grille and headlighs
and various additions to the body.
All i want to do now is add a driver.
Ok here are some pics of the build.
Let me know what you think Thanks!
Also go here guess the driver.. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/scale...ho-driver.html

Thumbs up Re: My Dingo.. Military style

Looks great in olive drab. My two Dingos are painted. I just might have to pick up a 3rd one.

Thanks.
I like the way it turned out....not the biggest fan of the dingo body. I'm happy with it for now.
I did spray a bit of flat clear lexan paint on the outside first then followed up with the tamiya
olive drab.

I know it's not going to hold on forever but I like the used battered look..

Hehe yeah.. "shop smart...shop S-mart"

Nah he's not the driver.. still looking for one.
I was considering using his chainsaw as a scale item in the truck .. but then he would be defenseless since his shotgun is lost.

Nice work man! I almost went the same direction with my dingo kit - ended up going the 1.55 route instead with a different body though.

I'd like to see a set of these sr03's mounted up on those rips for that badass military blacked-out look

Thanks dude! They were custom made by scalerfab.com in Florida. Can you mock up the military wheels on the dingo? (vr01's right?) I think the sr03's would look sick plus they are steel and not plastic

I think the dingo body makes for a great military or apocalyptic type theme, I know I was not a big fan of this body....but there is a lot of potential on these.......looks great.

Cheers,
Wade

Damm, that is such a nice looking Dingo/Rover.

Like all of the different wheel combos people posted pics of.

I'm digging that driver. That's the dude from Gears of War, epic game that...

I'm very tempted to spray my dingo on the outside, and especially that color, it came out great...
